The contemporary issue of the Anglo-American corporate vale model is short-termism. That is, the model operates in the interest of shareholders overlooking or at a cost of non-shareholder stakeholders’ interests including society and environment. The eye opening evidence is the 2008-09 global financial crisis. In these circumstances, this book examines how three Anglo-American corporate governance jurisdictions, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and India have recently modified their corporate value models for creating long-term sustainable value. The examination continues with the Anglo American corporate value models of two emerging countries also.
